NoMad London Hotel Featured at Miami’s Medium Cool Cocktail Lounge

Alongside the major South Beach Wine and Food Festival happening in Miami, other exciting collaborations are on the horizon, such as a two-night-only bar event. Renowned staff from NoMad London, a five-star hotel based in Covent Garden, are visiting Miami’s Medium Cool for two exclusive evenings on Wednesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 22. This is ahead of NoMad Bar’s planned opening in Miami in 2025. With big London restaurant names like Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay opening up in the area, Miami is no stranger to high-profile culinary events. NoMad London, currently 46th in the World’s 50 Best Hotels list, has famous culinary programs like Side Hustle, the Library, and NoMad Restaurant & Bar. The bar will make its Miami debut, with renowned bartenders Leo Robitschek, Jacopo Maggi, and Liana Oster, under the guidance of Miami’s Medium Cool’s Naron Young.

Leo Robitschek, vice president of food and beverages at the Sydell Group, said: “We are here to celebrate the future opening of the NoMad Bar in Wynwood in 2025 and we are delighted to partner with Medium Cool during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. We are looking forward to an evening featuring music, drinks and great company in one of South Beach’s finest cocktail lounges.” The NoMad bar team will introduce an assortment of signature cocktails, offering a glimpse into what the future Wynwood location will have to offer.

The limited-edition drink menu includes the Szechuan Gibson cocktail, recommended for its savory, peppery, and floral flavors, and made with Grey Goose vodka, Szechuan, French vermouth, and pickled onion. For tequila enthusiasts, the menu includes a trio of tequila-infused beverages. Fans of gin can enjoy the “Stranger Things” cocktail, a NoMad classic.

Liana Oster, NoMad London’s bar director, expressed her excitement about coming to Miami and the opportunity to work with both Leo and Naren again. According to her: “It’s special to bring what we’ve been doing in London to Miami.” The bar event will also feature live, Latin-inspired jazz performances, making it the perfect post-festival location. NoMad London Pop-Up at Medium Cool will operate from 6 to 10 p.m. on February 21 and 22 at 1690 Collins Ave., Ste. 2, Miami Beach.
