Ardbeg Whiskey Brings Mobile Airstream and Free Scotch to Miami

The Masters of Smoke National Tour, hosted by Ardbeg, a famous single malt Scotch whisky distillery, is heading to Miami. This isn’t about Snoop Dogg; it’s an opportunity for Miami’s residents to sample Ardbeg’s distinct, smoky and heavily peated liquors. An Ardbeg-branded Airstream will kick-start its Miami journey at the WhiskyX trade show at Wynwood Marketplace, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 7.

Argbed’s ambassador, Cameron George, maligned the brand’s unique approach to whisky production, drawing influence from the rugged beauty of the isle of Islay region in Scotland. Visitors to the Airstream will have an opportunity to taste five Ardbeg scotches including their smokiest Scotch, “Wee Beastie,” and others like “An Oa”, “Uigeadaial” and “Corryvreckan”.

Cameron shared his excitement for the tour, aiming to breach patrons’ conventional ideas about smoke and single malt scotch by unveiling its diverse, often underrated flavors. Scotch can be light, bright, citrusy, floral, and fruit-forward, in addition to smoky – appealing to both connoisseur or novice whisky drinkers.

At the WhiskyX stop, a unique cocktail will be available for guests named, “Smoky Bacon Old-Fashioned”. Besides Ardbeg whisky, the cocktail will incorporate apple and Angostura bitters, and topped with a dehydrated apple and candied bacon, and will be smoked in a special Ardbeg smokebox.

The WhiskyX stop is just the beginning. The Ardbeg airstream will make three more stops in Miami through March 10, including at Total Wine on March 8, West Kendall Liquors on March 9, and ABC Wines on March 10.

The Masters of Smoke National Tour by Ardbeg will take place from Thursday, March 7, through Sunday, March 10, at various locations around Miami-Dade. You can find more information at mastersofsmoketour.com.
