Jeep Readies Five New/Refreshed Models for 2025: Neefina

Jeep has a big 2025 in store, with a rollout of two battery-electric vehicles and a wider range of plug-in hybrids. Recently, the brand’s new CEO, Antonio Filosa, shared with the press, the brand’s future strategies and how it will enhance its presence in the market.

The Jeep Wagoneer S is set to start production in the second quarter before it becomes ready for purchasing in the third quarter, albeit for a brief run in the 2024 model year. Promising to be the speediest Jeep yet, the vehicle can clock in at 60 miles per hour within just 3.5 seconds.

Potent with 600 horsepower, the Wagoneer S will utilize the scalable STLA Large platform from Stellantis, mirroring the soon-to-be-launched Recon, which is expected to launch later this year. Scalars for Recon’s initiation and launch weren’t disclosed by Jeep, though its introductory full sales year will coincide with the Wagoneer S in 2025.

With the upcoming year, Jeep’s 4xe plug-in hybrid lineup will expand. The previously mentioned Gladiator PHEV is expected to feature, as Jeep plans to introduce five new or updated models in 2025. This renovation is part of Jeep’s strategy to grow into a larger share of the US market, which follows a five-year streak of sales downturns.

Preparations for a prosperous 2025 have already commenced for Jeep. Numerous model prices have been reduced for 2024, including the Grand Cherokee and the recently enhanced Gladiator. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be brought into the Jeep brand, while the Wrangler received an update for this model year. The CEO, Antonio Filosa, has also assembled a novel team to increase quality and reduce input cost. Time will tell whether these efforts will bring about the desired results.
